Urban Dev Group of Companies ("Urban Dev", "we", "us") is the responsible party for the personal information processed through this website. Our Information Officer can be reached at info@urbandev.co.za.

• Identity and contact details: name, surname, email address, telephone number.
• Enquiry and sales information: the project or unit you are interested in, budget range, referral details, and correspondence you send us.
• Bond and affordability information you voluntarily submit through the bond calculator or through our finance partners (income, deposit, loan term). Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored by us unless you send them to us.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring URLs, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

• To respond to enquiries and provide information about our developments.
• To process property reservations, sales and referral commissions.
• To refer you, with your consent, to bond originators and estate agency partners.
• To comply with legal obligations, including FICA, tax and consumer protection law.
• To improve the website, measure usage and secure our systems (legitimate interest).
• To send marketing communications where you have consented; you may opt out at any time.

We may share personal information with our appointed estate agencies and bond origination partners (for example Seeff, National Real Estate and TrueBond), our development and construction joint-venture partners, professional advisors, and service providers who host or support this website. These parties are required to process the information only for the agreed purpose and to keep it confidential. We do not sell personal information. Where information is processed outside South Africa, we require comparable protection as required by section 72 of POPIA.

Personal information is stored on access-controlled systems and reputable cloud services with encryption in transit. Access is limited to staff and partners who need it to perform their duties. We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, sales and financial records retained for statutory retention periods), after which it is deleted or de-identified.

• Request correction, updating or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant or excessive information.
• Object to processing, or withdraw consent for marketing, at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Email info@urbandev.co.za with the subject line "POPIA request", stating your full name, contact details and what you would like us to do. We may ask for proof of identity. We respond within a reasonable time, ordinarily within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
